1. This website

The public Takely website provides product information and educational articles. It does not currently include an account, advertising tracker, newsletter form, or health-data collection form. Standard hosting infrastructure may process basic request information, such as an IP address, browser type, and security logs, to deliver and protect the site.

2. The Takely app

Core records—including medication check-ins, symptom logs, weight entries, food-thought entries, meal notes, and medication-stage history—are stored in local device storage. Two features are optional and off unless you turn them on. Cloud backup requires signing in with your email (a one-tap magic link) and switching it on in Settings; when enabled, a copy of your own logs is stored in our database, readable only by your account. Anonymous usage statistics record feature events only — never health data, never linked to your identity — and can be switched off in Settings.

Deleting the app, clearing site storage, or losing the device may delete locally stored records. Use the available export feature to keep a copy. A future import and device-transfer feature may change this process; this policy will be updated before launch.

3. Optional photo analysis

The early-access app may offer optional meal-photo analysis. If you choose it, the app explains that the image is sent to the named AI provider for analysis. The provider’s terms and privacy policy apply to that transmission. Do not use the feature if you do not want the image sent to that provider.

4. Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app uses notification permissions on your device. You can change notification access in your device or browser settings.

5. Your choices

• Use the public website without entering health information.
• Decline notification permission.
• Avoid optional third-party analysis.
• Export or delete local app records.
• Contact us with privacy questions.

6. Medical and product status

Takely is a consumer self-tracking and educational companion, not a medical device, healthcare provider, or emergency service. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition and does not make medication, dosing, or treatment decisions. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about medical questions, side effects, symptoms, or changes to your medication, and follow your prescription and the current medication label.

Do not send medical emergencies or highly sensitive clinical records by ordinary email. If you may be experiencing an emergency, contact local emergency services.
